Privacy

This page explains, in plain language, what this site collects and how it is used. It is general guidance for a small, self-hosted newsletter — not legal advice.

What we collect

  • Your name — shown publicly beside anything you post.
  • Your email address — never shown publicly; used to confirm your account and to tell you when someone replies to you.
  • Your comments — shown publicly, and visible to everyone who reads the site.
  • Basic technical data, such as the IP address a request came from — used only to keep the site running and to block spam and abuse.

How we use it

Your email address is used only for system messages — for example, account emails such as password-reset confirmations, and notifications when someone replies to your comment. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your email address with other users or with third parties.

Cookies

The site sets a small number of cookies to remember your preferences — for example, the name and email you have already entered — and to keep you signed in. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site removes them.

Participation and moderation

Please keep your contributions civil and lawful. No solicitation, promotion of pornography, drug use, or other illegal activity is permitted. Comments are approved at the sole discretion of this site's moderators. We reserve the right to cancel an account and block access for any reason, and to report illegal activity to law enforcement.

Content ownership

The newsletters and articles on this site are the property of Keith S. Taylor. You may not republish them in whole or in part without express permission.
